Upon first Google search, it's evident that Raygoza keeps a low profile on the internet. Across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn no discernible social media accounts brandishing the Juan Raygoza name appear to be sanctioned, or even owned by Raygoza himself. However, an inconspicuous SoundCloud profile has recently caught the attention of many eagle-eyed BHS students. "Barber Beat" is a 3 minute and 48 second track uploaded to SoundCloud on November 3, 2019 by a user under the name "Juan Raygoza". The track, which is the only song uploaded by the account, consists of often unintelligible rapping over the instrumental of Cypress Hill's 1993 hit record "Insane In The Brain". "Barber Beat" is an interesting title considering Juan's coiffure: an empty canvas! By the title of this song, the BHS student body can infer that Juan either doesn't visit a barber often, or visits a barber very frequently in order to keep the shine in line! The album cover displays an elderly Latinx-presenting man hidden behind frameless spectacles and a painfully substandard headset, which explains the quality of the vocals on the track. The man has a thin layer of hair, which may be dematerializing to create the Juan Raygoza that we know and love today. The Blazer staff has concluded the SoundCloud profile is not owned by the same Juan we know and love, however if you discover any more evidence relating to the account, please share with us through Instagram @bhsblazerest.
